Hannah’s World: Spring Edition

Hi there! What’s been going on in your life this month? (Seriously, let me know below – I would love to compare notes!) Today we are finally getting some more delicious sunshine, but we have had the requisite hail storms and tornado watches already this spring. Everything is green here in Dallas, the days are just warm enough, and I am SO happy! I’m ready for the sun, sun, sun to shine down on me all day long.

Yesterday my daughter turned 1 1/2! I can hardly believe it. When I go back and look at her newborn photos, she looks in comparison like such a big girl now – a toddler. But, as we are going about our days, she still seems like my little baby. To mark the occassion yesterday, we went on a carousel ride. (It was also a reward for how well she did waiting for mom in the Apple store while I got my computer fixed.)

Just a couple weeks ago, my husband, brother-in-law (and his girlfriend), and Elaina all drove out to visit our family. Surprised them, actually. I still can hardly believe we were able to pull it off. It was such fun!

While the trip lasted less than a week, we were able to indulge in some much needed family time. Our daughter loved getting spoiled by her grandparents and her aunt and uncles.

We wish we could indulge in more family time like this! The 18-hour drive is the killer, though. I was so proud of my daughter – we made the drive without much crying and with only 5-6 short stops along the way. She is such a trouper.

In other news, I am really doubling down on my next book, which means less blog posts over the next month. I hate to do it, but I really need to finish my book before June! But I promise I will be back more regularly in June!Β While I will still post a bit through May, if you would like more regular updates on things going on in the adventure I call my life and with my newest novel, then click here to sign up for my weekly newsletter!

What have you been up to this month? And what are you trying to accomplish in the next? Let me know in the comments below!Β
